Rev. Dr. Dale K. Steele, DMIN
Pastor Dale was born in Anchorage, Ak in 1960. The beneficiary of a Christian home and close, intergenerational relationships within his Church family, he gave his life to the Lord at age 14. Pastor Dale received and accepted the call to ministry at youth camp and has been involved in preparation for ministry, pastoral ministry, or both since graduating from High School in 1978. He has three degrees from Church of God schools: BA, Gulf-Coast Bible College, 1983; MDiv, The School of Theology, Anderson College, 1986; DMin, Anderson University School of Theology, 2010. He has pastored four churches in Colorado, Alaska, Wyoming, and since 2007, in Grand Rapids, MN. He met his wife, Sharon, at Seminary and they were married in 1986. Although not being blessed with children, he and Sharon raised eleven Sled dogs and raced recreationally during their pastorate in Alaska. In addition to pastoral ministry, Pastor Dale has been an Air Force Chaplain with the Alaska Air National Guard, involved in Camping Ministry, taught online Bible and Ministry courses, coached in the Church of God credentialling program, Leadership Focus, and served at all levels of State and Reginal Ministry in the various States in which he has pastored. He has participated in the Leadership of the North Central Region of the Church of God since 2001 when he assumed the pastorate in Worland, Wy. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Leadership Team and the Vice Chair of the Credentials Committee.
